Not the world's best flower photo, but it was conceived as a screen background, allowing icons to be seen reasonably easily and has been doing excellent service for the last seven years, Makes me cheerful to see it every time.


While we're on the spring theme, just something a bit cheerful

I always find it curious that the leaves follow the "flowers" more accurately, catkins.

A single Azalea flower from ..





one of my many Bonsai's. It stands about 6 inches from the top of the pot.

I bought a Californian Lilac last year, there's another one in the village (huge) and it was stunning which drove me towards getting one myself. This one isn't quite 1m tall yet, but the colour is magnificent.
