Ginger Hair? No Sperm Donor

Plenty of red-headed babes have no shortage of offers...

... unfortunately

Supply and demand mate, only 1-2% of people in the world have red hair with about 2-6% in Europe. That and the attitude of some people like the poster above will probably see the % decline even further. Although I think I read somewhere that at least 40% of the UK population carry the 'ginger gene' so who knows.

Hopefully, with a little forethought and careful planning we will be able to further reduce these horrific numbers to a more reasonable level over the coming years, say <0.1%.......... I pray that one day future generations of wisemens will be able to exist in a world without these awful abominations.

As for Doctor Who's Karen Gillan/Amy Pond.......I'd mingle with her genes any day.

ok taking this back to the OP if people are so desperate to have a child why should hair colour come into it? and for all of you that have been mocking red heads just look at the number of people dyeing their hair red. AS a red head i was hurt and humiliated when i was told that i wouldn't be able to be an egg donor because of the colour of my hair, i spent along time thinking long and hard about doing it too. (ssorry rant over )

^

I am now officially going to wrap everyone and everything in bubble wrap so nobody gets hurt and the world becomes sterile (no pun) and humourless.

i can see the funny side and i wasn't having ago at you as such. just gets a bit boring being the butt of everyones jokes and put downs at times.

surely thats a suffocation risk? not to mention a fire hazzard..

:D

...and don't forget the added risk of getting continually prodded by kids who try to pop the individual air bubbles :)

you can't be serious...

I love red hair, I think it's sexy lol.

On woman yeah ;)

The trouble is a couple wanting kids where neither is Ginger is going to want to have a ginger child (or the risk) Gingers as sexy as they may be are rare and jokes aside if theirs no demand for Ginger sperm then their isn't much point in accepting donations.

It would be a bit like a Chinese couple not wanting say coloured persons sperm. Discrimination possibly but with most things this is a business and people aren't going to be willing to shell out large amounts of cash to have a kid that people are going to say "Milkman must have been ginger"

^^ ^^

Ahem, thanks flash, here is another for all you ginger fiends...

There is a horrible form of discrimination that hardly anybody talks about. Individuals with red hair often get a bad reputation, for no purpose. Currently, a story is going around about a Danish sperm bank no longer accepting red headed donors. There may, in reality, be something such as redhead discrimination. Resource for this article:Danish sperm bank no longer takes donations from redheads.

Come on folks, let's not poke fun. Marcel is a ginger..

I thought it was only Pillsbury Dough Boys and Facebook members who got poked? Could someone draw a Venn diagram, please?

All my girlfriends were redheads, as is my wife (under the damn blonde dye).
Nuff said.

Then again I like the buttons/menus on a 1D mk2 :)

I honestly think diversity is hair/skin colour is a wonderful thing.

Ah, but the female copper-top can be a wonderful sight to behold...
Reminds me of a conversation I had at university. I was complaining about the red-headed guy next door (who was being a pain in the proverbial) and happened to use the term "ginge".

Amy, who shared the house I was in (and was utterly gorgeous), was also a red-head and she cleared her throat loudly at this.

"Ah", I said, "Alex is a ginge but you're a flame-haired beauty". ;)
