How about starting a thread with images and a little info
This is a Kelp Gull, (Larus dominicanus), and is the Southern Hemisphere equivalent to our Black backed Gulls, in size between the two - and for this reason it is also known as the Southern Black Backed Gull
Try to include a little info if you can and the Latin name as this help to show the family link
It is an image I have posted before on here as it was taken a year ago
