Yes, calling it 'monochrome' is pushing it a bit but it has been selectively de-saturated in my old version of PSE and then toned with a gold reflector in Colour Efex - just playing really

I get where you are coming from Geof, but sometimes these subtle scenes need to be very finely judged. Start dialling in too much contrast, and you will kill the atmosphere. Look at Andy's portfolio and you will see that he is not shy of contrast where it is needed.
