mac users - try this bit of fun

imagine that starting without you realising how as it did with me.

For those not mac based cmd and f5 launches the mac into speak mode. It describes the page as you navigate...

Anyone got any idea as to why this isn't working on a MBP running OS X 10.5.8 :shrug:?

For those that can't get it to work on laptops, you probably have the function keys set to their other functions, volume, brightness etc as default, so you will also need to press "fn" ;)

yeah thats the answer for macbook users.

I remember when I done this by accident once, took me nearly a week to turn it off :( drove me insane:bonk:

Hold [CMD] and press [F5] and keep them held down for 3 seconds. You will see the window come up.

your right, i needed to hold down fn too
 
:lol: got it now; me too, had to hold down [CMD] and [fn] and [f5] ... the sound reminds me of the Votrax speech synthesisers from the early 1980s!

Flash backs :geek:, me :love: :); but others at home are complaining. I don't want to switch this off.
