Hi,

I can't find this posted previously. But I am having issues with some of the Nik collection being compatible with the MacBook Pro 2015 retina screen.

Ones that look fine:
  • Analog Efex (retro filters and effects)
  • Color Efex (hue and tone)
  • Silver Efex (monochrome)
  • HDR Efex (high dynamic range)

Ones that look pixelated: (these are the ones I really want)
  • Dfine (noise removal)
  • Viveza (selective color editing)
  • Sharpener (image sharpening)
  • HDR Efex (high dynamic range)
I can't find any solution to this - are they supported on the retina screen?

Also - only HDR efex seems to work as a plugin on LR - the rest don't - anyway around this?

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks

I have a macbook mid 2014 with a retina screen and am running LR Classic on MacOS Sierra 10.12.6. I haven't checked all of them but certainly silver efex pro opens vis LR no problem. I've just tried Viveza and that was fine too - no pixelation. I've just tried Dfine2 - also okay. Could it be to do with your settings from Lightroom? Although perhaps you are not getting that far. This is how mine is set up ...
