I had sold my f-mount 105mm Macro in preparation.
I expect it to be in short supply, get your orders in asap. I also expect it to be epic.
I'm not really excited about either. I think they'll be Z mount equivalents of the 105 AFS-VR and 60mm AFS we have now. Both of those are tack sharp and frankly, what else does a macro lens need be? If I consider that 99% of my macro images are shot in full manual mode then there is already multitude of very sharp macro lenses on the market, both current and legacy. Will I get one? Possibly the 50mm but I don't expect it to produce anything better than the 60mm AF-S G except not requiring an adapter.
