Like you David I'm not a fan of 3x2 in the portrait orientation (I prefer 4x3) but I agree, this particular composition needed the 3x2.Not normally a fan of 3:2 vertical format photos. much preferring 5:4, but this shot needed the full height!

|Spectators defintely acceptable, IMO, if
a) they are OOF or
b) they are in focus but showing interest in thevehicle you are taking a picture of.
Yes, that is what I think, too. #1 looks more natural ...
Q3, f8, iso 3200, 12s shutter apparently, handheld as always. Chances are I’ll hit reply and it’ll look like a dogs breakfast. Still working out how to upload high quality images. Yup. Just a pixelated blur
