Ooh very jealous! Trying to save for one the same at the moment. Not easy in today’s world though!
It was very second hand... No box and the old hood. Ffordes wouldn't take my daughter as PX so I could get a new one. Can't say I'm surprised.Ooh very jealous! Trying to save for one the same at the moment. Not easy in today’s world though!

Although now I have a real hankering to let go of my M3 and pick up a black MP. Retains the looks of the old, with a meter... Must... resist...
Have you found a permanent marker that actually stays on after a couple of lens changes? All the ones I've tried rub off very quickly.I’ve coded my non-Leica lenses with a permanent marker.
I’m not so bothered about having (say) the 21 Elmarit profile on my Zeiss 21, I just like to be able to filter on FL in Lightroom
(Lightroom has dedicated lens profiles for my Zeiss and Voigtlander lenses anyway, although sometimes they do more harm than good!)

Hmm.. Lightroom is making up f number details... :/
That would explain how the voigtlander 28mm f2 is set at f1.2 in lightroom/flickrit’s because leica records f number in the ‘incorrect’ place in the exif (iirc it’s in maker notes) so windows (and some raw software) doesn’t know where to find it.
LR knows where too look so it can show it
the f number is just a guess made by the camera based on ss/iso, the camera can’t know the true f stop
(The Apo-Lanthar 2/50 VM is being delivered... --- )
