Ricoh GR III Owners Thread

I'm going to get a GR one day (can't wait). I fancy the GR3x but ...

i shot this on my gr2 using the little flash out doors , I really enjoy these little cameras

I've just realised the GR2 has a built in flash. The 3 & 3x doesn't?!

Yes sorry if I hijacked the thread

So just picked up a GRIIIX after owning several Fuji X series cameras and really liking it so far, great for carrying round with or without the workhorse R3 and image quality is excellent.

Very nice architectural capture, liking this one very much.

So,

GR3 or GR3x ????????? .......... Hmmmmmmmmm

Or shall I wait for the new one with tilt screen?

BTW, I've been watching YT vids, and came across this comment by Professional Potato, third (?) comment down. Could this be true?

If it's any consolation, dust won't enter the sensor via the lens but via the control wheel instead. The lens unit is 100% isolated from the sensor. The top control wheel though is a huge dust magnet :/

bit the bullet ... just ordered a GR3x from Park Cameras.

any recommendations on spare batteries?

Thanks Dave

Firstly, I don't know if the GR3 battery is the same as the GR3x battery, and I normally go for the half price version.

Plus charger?

@d00d If you scroll down it shows both the GR3 and GR3x are the same batteries.

Super job  Dave

I've been out today with my new GR3x ... been playing with the on board raw developer. A bit of fun. Will post some pics later.
