Hi All,

I'm selling my D70 as it doesn't get any use since buying a D90. Its body only but comes with 3 batts, charger, 4 mem cards, its boxed with all the bits.
My question is this would it sell quicker if I bought a cheap lens such as this

to sell with it and bump the price up a little or should I just knock the price down to sell. I think I may have pitched it a bit high (£230 RMSD) but I'm open to offers.

The only reason any item does not sell is price!

And that goes for everything not just cameras.
 
IMO putting a cheap lens on in is not going to make it more likely to sell. We all know our gear on here and any prospective purchaser would be happy to buy the body only + accessories and choose their own decent lens.

Just my opinion of course :)

Yeh I thought I might have pitched it a bit high but when you look at the price of batteries etc. they're bl**dy expensive.

Not the old En-EL3 that you've got-can't give them away nowadays, I'd think if you get £150 delivered for your camera you'd be doing well...
 
I think you're right Flash. I'm of to LCE in Manchester in a bit and they offered me £150 for last month so I'll probably take it there and save the postage.:thumbs:

The reason its not sold here, is that its far too expensive.

I'd say £150 from a dealer was a good price, you might be able to get £175 here.. but your's isn't even the newer s version.

Body only is preferable, don't buy a lens for it.
