Perhaps even more "classy" would be a VW campervan ' or two ( one for folk, the other for kit::p) and I know someone who would just love to drive it! @RaglanSurf ;)
Having just packed mine for Scotland an I can assure you you need a VW van each :D

Not very imaginative, but at least I know I have no light leaks.

Tomiyama Art 170, Lomo400 then converted to B&W because the colours suck.

Now I don't like the effect / distortion of fisheye lenses, however that effect has worked very well with this particular subject.

Well done Kevin:clap:
What do you mean 'effect'? In my younger days I used to go to a lot of steam rallies and I'll have you know that was pretty much the standard view and perspective when leaving the beer tent on Saturday night/Sunday morning! ;)

Joking aside, I do like that shot (happy memories I suppose!).

A few shots from the local ploughing match in September; unfortunately I arrived later than planned and most of the ploughing was over by the time I got there. Canon EOS 30, Canon EF 70-300 IS zoom on Kodak Gold 200. I love the EOS 30, the metering system never put a foot wrong despite the low September sun and all of these shots are straight from my Epson V600 scanner without any level adjustment in Photoshop.

I love the stance of the little red tractor in your final image. These photos are a great advert for Kodak Gold, I still haven't used any but I'll have to get some in now.

I only tried using Gold 200 this year and have been very pleased with the results. It seems nice and sharp and low grain and I find it's got quite a warm look to it; I'm looking forward to taking some autumn colour type photos with it soon. The best part is that, when it's in stock, 7 Day Shop sell a 5 roll pack of Gold 200 for less than £25 including postage, which makes it a lot cheaper than Ektar 100. :)

Very nice Nige. Lovely presentation.

I don't normally as a rule take pictures of people, they have a habit of changing expressions etc as you point a camera at them. But I think we are all guilty of that.

However I managed to get my sister in law to look straight into the lens of my F5 for this shot

Thanks Fraser

To be honest after developing this shot it has given me more confidence for this style of photo.

The F5 does led itself neatly to those situations where the subject is not going to play ball for very long. Its AF is rapid leaving me to focus on composition and all things exposure related.

Will see how I get on over the coming months.

Thanks again

Antony
