Show us yer film shots then!

I do hope you're going to stop using that squeegee now sidxms - it's a real shame, as there are some really interesting images there.

Here is my 1st attempt at Light Trails.

Taken with EOS500n, 75 seconds @ f4.5 using FujiColor 400 and an ND2.

Not brilliant but I am having a few teething problems scanning colour negs with my new V500.

For a reason I have yet to figure out, some blacks appear to have waves of purple haze and other times the scanner crops the black right out as I guess it is set to recognise the black of the pin registration.

I have no issues at all when scanning BnW negs.

Anyhow, I will try to get it sorted.

Cheers..,

Here is one of mine taken last weekend. Scanned at the processing stage by the lab. A bit of a boost to the saturation and a frame put round. That's all the processing done. Taken with a EOS3 on Fuji superia film.

Thats actually not a squeeze-ge actually, I got that developed from snappy snaps. its a c41 film

I'm really not sure whats causing it tbh. I don't think the lines are on the negatives.

That's exactly what I was trying to decipher.
In some it looks possibly squeejy related, but mostly they look too perfect.
This is one of mine with squeejy scratches, some of the other frames had scratches but not really in the same places or continuously along the length of the film, or so well defined.
Could be scan related...

Yeah i worked it out,

Its almost always caused by dust on the flatbed scanner, I've just cleaned with some lens cleaning fluid but its getting annoying.

Does anyone know if you can buy things like methanol in shops for cleaning the scanning surface with ?

Dust on the scanner sensor maybe, dunno about the glass.
This has come up before, other possibility's are, it could be the res you are scanning at, or it could be the software...

Well I'm using the flatbed scanner so I just cleaned the glass top and its gone now. I've ruled out software before.

Its annoying having to clean it every now and then. Need to get one with digital ice tech.

Another from my bike ride last weekend, but this one on Ektachrome 100 G and the Contax G2 45mm lens

Both HP5+ developed in Ilfosol, developed at 800 but shot at 400.

Ekimeno, those colours are awesome :D

JG, that last one is classic - great shot! In fact that's given me some ideas for Halloween this year... :naughty:

Need to watch out as Digi ICE does not work with black and white films. It is really designed to work with the colour ones.

Having said that, if the C41 processed B&W films have a orange layer to them ICE might work.

Old vineyard equipment, Domaine de la Bergerayre, Gascoigne, 1994.

Winemaker Jean-Marc Sarrian's aunt ran a small auberge here. At supper we were served the most delicately delicious and unforgettable foie-gras, produced on the farm, and, unusually, gently smoked, then rare chargrilled beef washed down with glasses of the strong local red wine, Madiran.

Ilford HP5. Can't remember the camera, but probably Olympus OM2.

Here are a couple from a trip to Buttermere in the Lake District a couple of weeks ago.

1. Buttermere Fell (I ran back to the Youth Hostel where we were staying to get my polarizer for this shot after it had been cloudy all day)

2. Buttermere and Fleetwith Pike (the light was disappearing rapidly-I just caught this in time)

Apologies for the quality-both scanned very quickly from 6x4 prints (which look much better). The negs are with the lab as I'm getting them enlarged to 12x8 to go on the living room wall.

Both taken with a Canon EOS 30v and 28-135mm IS on Superia 200 using a Kenko CPL.

Here are a few more of mine that I have just got around to scanning.

The long road home.

Three wheeled tractor.

Landacre Bridge on Exmoor.

Beach Huts.

First 3 taken with a Pentax P30 last one with an EOS500n, all on Ilford Delta Pro 400.

Cheers..,

After the improvement in standards, I thought it best if I lower the level right back down again.

Here a few more from my first couple of 'test' rolls (they are staying 'test' rolls until the results improve).

Tri-X in a Canonet QL19 processed/scanned by Snappy Snaps Soho apart from the wall one which was Ilford Lab.

...snip

Don't worry - I keep posting on here too, which helps keep the quality factor way down...:D

And with test shots like that - i'm going to be even more wary of posting anything when you start turning out the real deal (y)

All taken with an RB67 with a 180mm lens on Ilford Delta 400 at the Isle of Wight annual ploughing match 2008.

A few of Wells Cathedral

All taken using Canon EOS500n and FujiColor 100 but I have done a BnW conversion as I think it lends itself more to this building.
A little PP of cloning out people and some lamposts.

Cheers..,

My first post in this section!! My second ever film, first time with HP5, and first time developing it myself. (with lots of help)

Shot on HP5+ and Nikon FM with 50mm 1.8 D lens.

DSC_9871-2.jpg

I need to sort out a cheap scanner of sorts, this was an a4 page over a piece of glass with a bulb behind it. Not ideal.

The Wells photos are nice, pleasingly uncluttered and well exposed. Could have been take any time in the last 50 years really.

Thanks bud. :)

I like this shot very much, the composition is great the way you are lead down the path to the gate. Well done. ;)
