I love love love all these. Wish I could shoot people (no, really)

A few random shots from a walk around Cambridge last Saturday. Second roll through the lovely Rolleicord Va I got from @Andysnap . First time I've shot Rollei Retro 400s (a re badged Agfa emulsion I believe). Nice contrasty film that seems to scrub up OK in LC29. Bit of theme to them all ;) No idea why the last one is bigger?

Glad you're enjoying the 'Cord Adrian, a cracking little camera and you seem to be wielding it with some panache.

i missed the shot of the day though . Dave starrider second from right tripped up and over a kerb ,and instead of taking the photo like a pro i stupidly helped him off the ground ,although Tim (on the left ) did take a picture ,but has so far not released it .

As I mentioned above, I've been taking far too many generic long shots of trees (but also buildings, hills, etc) so I've been making a conscious effort to see closer shots - patterns, shapes, contrasts, etc. Here are a few I like.

First one is the XA2 with Kodak BW400CN, others are ME Super on Vista.

When Asha came to stay with me,he brought with him two rolls of a film called Efke 20 Asa,very OOD. We shot a roll each which Asha took home to develop here is an example of my results taken on my Fuji GSW690II 60mm.

#1.

#2.

Well here's my versions of the same scenes shot through Richards Hassy ( very kind to have been loaned it for the day :) ) .... Exposure wise, I think half way between yours and mine would be perfect.

Shame that the film proved to be fogged ...one of the gambles with old OOD film, nonetheless it's a nice smooth emulsion .....I have one roll left ...will have to choose a suitable topic / subject matter.

Yes,I think you are right Asha and the film does have some fine qualities,it is a shame it is not available any more.

There are some exceptional shots in this thread, need more hours in the day to go through all of them!
@Jao that 2nd shot is excellent & @Snapper73 Awesome shots!

Here's one of mine from a recent club portrait shoot, they seemed to think I'd lost my marbles shooting on film rather than using digital! Shot on my Mamiya 645 Pro with Ilford HP4+ and developed in Rodinal.

Cheers mate, am absolutely loving it! Just trying to find the time to shoot with it that's the problem at the moment! Have an RB67 for christmas from the Mrs too which I can't wait to get :)

Am following your polaroid thread with interest, is looking brilliant! (y)
