Developed my first roll of B&W since April last night! Been so long that my bottle of neat fixer has gone off and was full of thousands of floaty bits lol. Seemed to work ok though!

Took this for my 52 project photo with the theme "distant". It's the gaiwan set and gunpowder tea that I bought from Ming Cha tea house in Hong Kong. Hasselblad 500cm with 80mm f/2.8 and 21mm extension tube. FP4+ developed in HC-110 (B)

May be too contrasty for most people taste, but hey it's slide film and lost of bright snow :D

As usual, Dev by AG and digitised with Sony A7II

Love this as well Carl :) Some great shots on this thread! Why, Why , Why isn't this an abstract entry? (Pleased it isn't TBH but worried what you might use!)

I took advantage of the sunshine and snow yesterday to finish shooting the 5x4 film I had loaded at New Year and for once nothing went wrong

Smashing set of three 4x5 photograph,s. I really like the last one. A lot may say the foreground is messy, but, for me it creates lots of visual interest.(y)

I don’t consider it messy either. I consider it essential to the completeness of the scene. :)

That first one is an absolute belter Andy, really love the snow on the ground and the texture of the clouds.

Between these and your FPOTY entry, you're absolutely nailing your large format work (y)

Your wonky lens works well and I like the eye contact, nice photograph.(y)

Thanks Richard. The lens feels a little loose on the mount, but it seems to work ok providing I keep it in mind. Curiously, Shannon's got a real interest in film photography, so I've pointed her this way and we're gonna go on a wander with a couple of cameras once the weather isn't quite so shocking.

A miserable Manchester!

(First day off this year last Wednesday so I had to go out with the new to me Rolleicord even though it was just 'grey'!)
& FPOTY January entry finished the roll of 12 exposures nicely!

Rolleicord Vb, Ilford HP5

Very good photograph,I like the symmetry and all of the different, but, balanced angles.

As a point of interest go to page #1 of this thread post #4.

Finally got some sharp portraits with the RB67. Had it on a tripod this time and it still syncs fine at 1/250sec. Ilford Delta 100 is a real "wow" on the fine grain. Also experimented with a flat-on-the-scanner with glass holding it flat to see if it improved the sharpness. Still difficult to tell with my dodgy focussing, but the results are getting better and better. Four keepers off the roll which is a minor miracle by my standards.

I took a few shots, including this one, at Newark Air Museum last weekend. I'd expected to take more but the film began to re-wind unexpectedly. It was only then that I realised that I was using a 24-exp roll of Fomapan 400 (I wondered why they were cheaper than expected when I bought thm! :D ).

Nikon F80
Nikkor 28-80mm f/3.5-5.6 AF
Fomapan 400

Great shot Nige!

here are first tests in a 1936 Zeiss Ikon with 105mm f7.7 Nettar lens I was given and cleaned up. I used outdated Ilford Delta 400 pro rated 250 ASA and processed in home-made ID 11 1+1 for recommended time 14 mins BUT negs were over-developed. I used a small tripod as there are only 2 'instantaneous ' Speeds 1/25th and 1/75th.
