I am trying to be more active in photography again before I am too old and it's too late

Spookily quiet there Chris, and a fine set that would be hard to repeat in future (hopefully!)Full story in my contact sheets thread - https://www.talkphotography.co.uk/threads/sirchs-contact-sheets-for-2020.708119/post-8754956

Nice. Some lovely images on there and great to see the full 12 images from the roll.
That was my thought as well, before I saw Stephen's commentGeorgia O'Keeffe. It just screams it to me.
I don't shoot much B&W really. I should probably do more but I see other people's and it's just stunning in comparison. Plus I am more drawn to colour for my own stuff. Anyway, here's one on HP5 at, what looks like night time but is in fact 2pm during a massive downpour.

This guy was swinging a weighted object on a rope into the canal when we passed. Turned out he was magnet fishing, looking to "catch" metal objects that have been lost in the canal. All he'd caught when I spoke to him was a 3' length of rebar though.

My father's friend had one of those magnets for use on his narrow boat and he found a flintlock pistol with it.LOL......well I don't think any coins are magnetic, maybe looking for guns, swords and knives etc.....but wont be anything far back as the canal can't be that old.
