I've had my d300s nearly two years now, and today took it to one of my local lakes to get some pics of an area I am going to be fishing in a competition soon, I've got back home and looked at the pics via Lightroom and today I have put exactly 1000 clicks/accusations on my camera.

But that's not a bad thing, and in my defence I do work a lot of hours and don't get much time off to do any photography these days, and its going to last me a lifetime, Im happy with it and have got no intention of changing anytime soon.

Not to worry, I've had days were I've done more than that in one day!

I'd rather have 1,000 considered clicks, with a good proportion of keepers, than 100,000 terrible photos.

Wow that is low. But if you're keeping at it and enjoying it then that's all that matters!

My D3s is sitting at 1065 since I bought it late January this year.

I wonder where they got the saying Canon fodder?:p

Got mine in 2008 and got 8800 clicks on it.

Got mine in February & am already at 8100 clicks

Bought my D90 in January 2010, with about 3,000 on the meter; it recently waved to the 70,000 marker receding into the distance. ^_^; But, I was lucky enough that the previous job was but a few minutes walk from several locations with rabbits, who happen to be my photographic specialty. (On leaving the area, I said goodbye to them by scattering a large bag of raisins around the fields in question) It wasn't unusual for me to wind up with a couple hundred shots over the course of the lunch hour, possibly with more coming on the walk back home, especially in the Springtime, when, if the path was quiet enough, I might be in with a chance of seeing baby rabbits by the side of the path, or even venturing onto the tarmac. There may be happier sights in the world, but baby bunnies in the light of the golden hour surely ranks well. ^_^
