WIll you be able to claim cashback on them all as I thought you can only get CB on a limited number?I had bought them long before that. Seen it being discussed on Facebook. While they discussed I bought. 2 of them already sold.

lalalalalalala, oh Sony came out on top. Excellent article, well worth the read.
I wish I hadn't been forced to sell my Voigtlanders (and Loxia). They were lovely lenses, both to handle, and in IQ. But my eyesight varies enough during the day, and day-by-day, enough to make manual focussing unreliable. It's all down to the onset of cataracts, apparently, but they're nowhere near bad enough to being recommended for surgery.Voigtlander 35mm f2 APO Lanthar review...

"When a lens comes with a long list of assets and is practically devoid of flaws we always grant it our 'Editors' Choice' badge. We feel the Voigtlander fully deserves it."

ThanksI'm very rarely a black & white person but these look great imo
I've got a few things sorted on the Escort now (after debating a sale!) just in time for this weekend's sh!t weather forecast
After years of Nikons where you could leave the camera on and the battery would still have charge a month later if it was in the bag I now forget to turn off the Sony's from time to time. The camera will drain the battery in short order and it also gets hot if it is in a bag as it is presumably trying to focus. Pre AF is turned off and the camera is set to go to sleep in a minute of no activity. Surely it is capable of going to sleep and waiting for a button press to make it wake up but I can't see a setting
It is obviously the settings. I am always on AF-C if that makes a differencemine does go to sleep and it doesn't drain much battery. I have left it on in the bag few times in the past without much consequence.
no nothing to do with that. there is a sleep setting in your camera, do you have it turned off?It is obviously the settings. I am always on AF-C if that makes a difference
It is set to 1 min, could it be bluetooth. I'll try airplane mode and see if that does itno nothing to do with that. there is a sleep setting in your camera, do you have it turned off?
hmmm....not sure then could be... my camera is almost always in aeroplane mode.It is set to 1 min, could it be bluetooth. I'll try airplane mode and see if that does it
Think I have worked it out. IR remote was set to on. As soon as that was switched to off then the camera was powering down at the correct timings.hmmm....not sure then could be... my camera is almost always in aeroplane mode.
That's odd, mine doesn't need to be in airplane modeActually after further experimentation it needed IR Remote to be off and to be in Airplane mode. Working perfectly now
The A7C just doesn't seem to use any power, off or on. The A7R2, during the short period I had it, ate batteries faster than I could eat pork pies. Even off. On both new and old batteries. Partly batteries, partly the focussing, as even for landscapes I’ve got used to using AFC with flexible spot for “focus and recompose”. And strange though it seems I find the viewfinder on the A7C suits me more. Yes, it’s smaller, but it’s also clearer. Also the hump gets in the way in a small bag.Hadn’t realised you’d parted with the R2. What prompted that decision ?
Same here...mine does go to sleep and it doesn't drain much battery. I have left it on in the bag few times in the past without much consequence.
Nothing riveting, just some dino action at Blair Drummond with the 35
I can't seem to stop messing around with things, I've taken the Samyang 135mm f2 that I'm using for astrophotography and stuck a Sony 1.4x TC on it just to see if it would work.
