Yes. It's just that sometimes my careful with money gene kicks in. Having lived in a paper bag at side of t road when I was younger still has an effect on me.
You had a paper bag? You were lucky, all we had was a used Uncle Joe’s Mintball wrapper. And we didn’t have a road, just a sheep trod.

I sometimes say to my wife "I am a poor man. I shouldn't have a nice car and I shouldn't have this or that. This isn't right". It's REALLY hard to stop thinking and acting poor when it's how you grew up and had to manage most of your life.
 
Both me and Mrs WW are trying to get out of the penny pinching mindset but your upbringing and conditioning are hard to get away from. We'll probably die with stuffed bank accounts.

I'm sure we won't be wealthy in the end, but want to pass on what we can to our son and grandson. If we had no offspring it would change our outlook a little.

Well, we are coming closer to the end than we would like to admit to and intend to leave with a zero balance. One things for sure - the kids aren’t getting any. They both earn far more (through their own efforts) than we could ever dream of. There’s no pockets in shrouds! ;)
