The X-T1 + 35 1.4 was what hooked me into Fuji too. I'm still wanting to reunite with a 35 1.4, didn't really like the F2, just wasn't the same.

I have a couple of gear bags set up. One has the 100-400, 1.4 & grip ready for wildlife; the other the 10-24 and filters for landscape. All I do is swap the T3 body and one of my T2's with the 35 f1.4 on it. So that combo goes just about everywhere. I did some photo's for the local football club for some posters the other week (head & top of body shots mostly) and the I ended up using the output from the T2 & 35 f1.4.

Whilst I have other lenses, the bulk of my shooting is done at each end of the spectrum, with the 10-24 or 100-400, the next most used lens is the 35. There's then a big gap down to the next lens.

I currently have a Sony A9 with 3 prime lenses, however shes are immanently going to be sold and then I will have nothing but my iPhone XR
I will however be getting the new Fuji X100V and later on this year the iPhone Pro 12. :D

I’ve not tried the F2 but I can say that the 1.4 is a superb lens. It is my not used on the T3 at the moment.

Where the F2 lacked for me was close focus distance, the 1.4 does it better, also the obvious extra stop of light and on side, I refer the look and feel of the 1.4 physically. I also did not find the F2 to be 'lightening fast' as some reviewers would have us believe. It does a little to and fro dance before locking on, it does do it quietly but I don't think it's that much faster than the 1.4 - I think the quieter action is a bit of a placebo effect

Optically I feel they're much the same, apart from the older one being much nicer at 1.4 :D

The list is fairly endless:-

WR
Leaf shutter
High Speed Sync
OVF
Smaller Lighter Package
Nicer to hold/use
Built in ND filter
Looks cool and badass

I have X100F and X-H1+23mmF1.4 and my wife has X-T20+23F2, my favourite camera out of the lot is the X100F, its just a lovely thing to use.

But if you buy with your head balancing specification against cost then you might have a different conclusion, but once you've used an X100 series camera for a long period of time, you'll understand why it gets under your skin.
There you go finished the list for ya

With the latest update, very good. What lens? the 50-140 would be my choice for that subject.

Thanks Steve. Very helpful. I’m waiting on X-Pro 3 but unsure about it’s AF-C capability.
I also have Sony A7iii but might return to Fuji full time.

More with the 35mm. I was a Sony shooter but for some reason(this forum) had an urge to try the fuji system.

It is tempting. I love everything about my Sonys (A7ii and A6500) except the lack of dedicated control dials. Which is what made me look at the Fujifilms. I may replace the A6500 if an X-E2 works ergonomically. X-Pro1 or X-Pro2 is just so big - A7 size, really. And I want to keep the FF, especially for low light.

I liked the rendering of the 35mm f1.4, but AF performance with the X-T1 wasn't great imo.
People said the X-H1 dropped in price quickly { not fast enough for me at the time] , nothing close to the XT3 drop IMO. There's nothing between a new H1 and barely used T3 now.
I really like the 'idea' of the XTx cameras, full manual dials etc, and obviously with the X-T3 you get the performance to go with it. However, I do wish it had a beefier grip as it's not as nice to hold as My EM1 or Z7. I know the XH-1 is kind of 'that camera' but that is chunkier all round, and no lighter than FF. Of course, add a grip to the X-T3 and it'll one a similar weight to the X-H1 (maybe even heavier) and then the shutter button isn't in as convenient place

Read peoples list of bodies and thoughts that's a lot but then i started to think about mine over the years.

My digital camera history doesn't sound that bad now ;) Neglecting consumer compacts my history is:-

Sony A77
Sony A77-II
Olympus EM10
Nikon D750
Olympus EM5-II
Fuji X-T1
Sony RX100-III
Canon G7x
Olympus EM1
Olympus EM1-II
Nikon D850
Nikon Z7

Of those I would say the cameras I've liked the most (for various reasons) are the D750 and EM1-II.

EPIC list..... :)

silver or black??
Silver... however the Black looks nice too for that all stealth look.
I was up in the loft yesterday and found my original X100 packaging and the Fuji X100 photo sample book.... even got loads of X100 flyers and brochures in mint condition

my original is silver, my X100F black, but I think I’m going to go silver this time, but I’m going to wait a little just to see if any trade in bonuses appear

I've got the fuji metal hand grip on my T2, and find it really helps. I'm assuming there's one for the T3 too.
