Where on earth did you get that code from?!![]()
That one has been on the go for longer than the Paypal12 code, I started using it again when they dropped the discount on paypal12.

Me tooWasn't before I was born. In fact I can remember life before The Beatles!

Another great shot Ash! How long does it take to process these?
Yeah, that's my birthday! I'd like it on a stick please.Monday the 14th wee will see the biggest and brightest moon in a hundred years. Let's hope for a cloudless night
And how exactly are you getting this monochrome with colour???
Lovely effect
ThanksThank you.
Not so long now, but the first one took a while to get as I wanted! Then I saved the settings as a preset, so now I apply that and then tweak from there. The St Pauls one actually took a little longer because the building itself is predominantly white and the settings rely on pushing the highlights and whites to build the desaturated, contrasty look - so the building was really blown out after applying the preset. I had to pull it back with some local adjustment and actually dehaze was my best friend in bringing the details back, but retaining the overall feel.
Forecast for Saturday is carp. Sunday looks OK. Dry and calm (ish). Pass stamped by SWMBO. Are you still ruled out?
OMG never seen anything like it.. Did a cracking job with the moon thou
Is the 50-140 lens that much better than the 55-200 it just that I seen some great images taken with the 55-200 and is that lens a good lens compare tot he cheap nikons and canons??
Hope you've got long arms to reach the focus ring!

They will both perform exactly the same unless you buy a camera to put them on![]()
Not so much telephoto, more telescope! Do you need to support the far end? That's a lot of leverage...
Wont be long that if you read what I said further up![]()
Might be some one else putting me on ignore list soonI did Andrew, but I've read similar before![]()
Is a used XT10 with a 16-50mm lens for £375 a good buy.. Box and excellent condition..
A good enough price for you to see if you really want a Fuji.Is a used XT10 with a 16-50mm lens for £375 a good buy.. Box and excellent condition..
Depends where it's from. Fuji refurb shop have them for £400ish with 1 year warranty.

It is, but my X-T10 and 18-55 was a bit more at £540.Just my thinking but the lens not in the same as the 18-55 which is a better lens
I don't think you'll be happy with the 16-50mm Andy in all honesty. The 16mm at the short end is welcomed though, Shane they didn't make the 18-55mm a 16-55mm f2.8-4, but then they need to sell the 16-55mm f2.8Just my thinking but the lens not in the same as the 18-55 which is a better lens

No, it's in stock.Out of stock thou
Little bigger than pocket-sized huh?
I've ordered an adapter for my XT-1, mostly to use the Sigma 150 macro I have left over from the Nikon gear, but I will no doubt be hunting down some old AI cheap glass for fun too
This was my best moon shot, well, this type of moon shot at least, I do like further back, from the ground moon views too. Won't post the image as it's not from a Fuji: Used the Nikon 300mm F4 + 1.4 TC. The D800 was very forgiving for heavy crops. The one thing I will miss.

I agree. But I think we're talking about the XC16-50 here, a very different beastI don't think the 16-55 2.8 is really worth the money tbh, when you could have the 18-55 and the 56 1.2 for not much more. But then, I rarely shoot very wide.
I wouldn't place much weight on the "better balance" argument though. Especially not coming from a man who hangs a telescope on an X Series camera. More seriously, the handling of the 18-55 is perfect for me once I put an L bracket on the body. I wouldn't give it a thought.
But you do have "special" roundaboutsI live in Swindon be great full you get to take decent photos of where you live. I struggle having exciting scenery either landscape or town
Yup, the sunny 16 rule for daytime works pretty well as moony 11 for moon shots! There's actually no good reason NOT to shoot the moon handheld, because of it's light, you can use pretty fast shutter speeds. Though I did shoot it at 1/60 earlier, only because I was testing the OIS
