If you've paid for next-day delivery, or even if it was "included", I'd be asking for a refund of carriage charges or financial compensation. So, I was meant to receive the 10-24mm from Jessops yesterday. I phoned up and they haven't even dispatched it even though the tracker says dispatched. I've just been told it may be dispatched tomorrow...
I'm not even allowed to go into store to collect one as it's a "security risk" as they couldn't verify if I'm the buyer. So much for next day delivery.
I always click and collect where possible. You'll get it eventually. So, I was meant to receive the 10-24mm from Jessops yesterday. I phoned up and they haven't even dispatched it even though the tracker says dispatched. I've just been told it may be dispatched tomorrow...

Wonderful things, these manuals! How did we manage in the olden days?
Giving your age away there @NodI've still got the manuals for the F65 and even OM10 - well thumbed!!!
I've got the manual for a Fed 3 - in Russian - and the Oly E1. Still have both cameras too. Also, though not relevant, a sales brochure for a Leyland Gas Turbine truck, the actual vehicle of which I worked on.I've still got the manuals for the F65 and even OM10 - well thumbed!!!
Great expressive photo. Luckily it's not in sound!"Sorry", but I've got a bit of thing about street photography at the moment so here's another of my boring shots.
Just a simple candid street style shot taken at Canterbury of a gentleman with his Accordion doing a bit of street playing.

I've put a few miles in round that test track. And known people killed there testing trucks. Last time I visited Leyland it brought tears to my eyes to see that almost all the old factories - Spurrier, Centurion, Foundry, NOB, etc, - had been torn down. Doubt that I could find my way round these days. This thread is useless without photos!
Did you know that you can now get onto the disused Leyland Motors test track? Good for a day of toggling industrial decay.
When we were kids growing up round there it assumed mythical properties because of the 20foot high wall round it. There's now a way through....if you know where to look.
Most of the old factories are no longer there. All that's left is a small vehicle assembly plant. The rest is now housing!I've put a few miles in round that test track. Fluked an explore on this one - thankyou Velvia

I'm considering getting a 1.4 tele converter and saw them at the Fuji refurb shop priced £279, and noticed that they had a discount code box! Anybody know of any codes which are available?.......well, I can ask Generally these appear to be selling at £329 new, so not a massive saving.
I was out with my XT2 + 100-400 at a RSPB site today and I felt I needed just a little extra reach.

Should have gone for the 100-400 + 1.4x telecon deal! FWIW, it's a great combination
I might be ordering a 100-400 with 1.4 TC tomorrow, I already have the 1.4 TC with my 50-140 but might let it go as having 2 x TC's is a luxury, if it all works out will post in classifieds and let you know.I'm considering getting a 1.4 tele converter and saw them at the Fuji refurb shop priced £279, and noticed that they had a discount code box! Not bothering with this one. I'll wait for the big one on Thursday.Anyone on here had trouble with downloading firmware version 5.1 for the X-T1?? It seems to start downloading OK but then the estimated time remaining increases to 2 hours or more - can't be right for such a small file. The F/W upgrade for my XPro2 was fine
Seem to be usually on a Thursday. What on earth happened to this big Fuji XT-2 firmware upgrade... not many days left now until March has ended
See link below or Jack the hat has remotes and a fast post free serviceAnyone using the rr90 release or can recommend a good clone?

This. I use a cheap canon equivalent for around £3. Works no problems.Had both the genuine article and one from Jack The Hat, both work ok the latter feels a bit clucky and cheaper (because it is)
I prefer the Canon version via the mic slot, less bulky and works very smoothly
They are just remotes though and if they trip the shutter don't suppose it matters much

How the hell do you know whether it utilises two or three though?Have to be careful , not all Canon clones work, to do with whether two or three wires have been utilised

Mine certainly works anyway
