That was a really good race!
Amazed that Fernando finished 7th despite a pretty heavy crash.

Without the safety cars incidents, it would have been a slam dunk for Max. As it was with the safety cars and a poor pit stop due to a dodgy wheel gun, we got to see something a bit more interesting that in the end was yet another clear demonstration of just how good the Red Bull car is this season and how well Max can get performance out of it.That was a really good race!

I think Alonso was blamed for that crash and knocked back to 15th?That was a really good race!

Don't you mean Charles? Those pleading radio calls did him no favours in my eyes.I am happy. I'm a fan of Lewis but I didn't mind him not winning today and George did.
What about Max? Does he really think he's bigger than the team?

Great race though. As exciting as the last one was boring.
So now they have two journeyman drivers. Not exactly a bold management decision, even though I like Hulk. Will probably get through less spare parts though #F1onashoestringHulk confirmed at Haas.
Has there been further confirmation of this? Last I saw was that Helmut had got all excited about it and made the announcement, but nothing has yet been signed. I’ve also been told that Coulthard has commented that if Perez isn’t happy with the way the (Red Bull) team is operating, he is free to leave… So that looks (to me) like Daniel is being used as stick to keep Sergio onside.Ricciardo joins Red Bull as reserve driver.
looks better on your CV though than thirdWho remembers who finished second anyway? Only the winners name on the trophy, second is first place loser.
Shouldn’t they BMW powered to match the road cars?
Thought the road cars used Mercedes power trains?Shouldn’t they BMW powered to match the road cars?
I suspect that Aston Martin as a company have little if next to nothing to do with the F1 team, without Stroll Aston Martin has never been financial stable enough to fund an F1 team. I cant find the page I have seen in the past that list the names of the companies that actualy hold the licence to race in F1 Sauber is one and I expect Aston Martin are just Commercial branding similarly to Alfa Romeo where Sauber hold the license to race and Alfa is just the branding.Shouldn’t they BMW powered to match the road cars?
Interesting article about the differences between F1 and IndyCar.
F1 v IndyCar: Top speeds, engines, format, calendars and safety all compared
While F1 cars and IndyCars look similar, the two series differ quite a lot under the skin. Here's how different F1 and IndyCar really are...www.planetf1.com
Thanks for that Ric, really shows the difference between Indycar and F1. At the circuit of the Americas in 2019 the Indycar pole lap was a 1:46 at 115mph, whilst Bottas in an F1 car on the same circuit that year set a pole lap of 1:32 at 133mph. If Jamie Chadwick wants to race in F1, then she has to forget Indycar lights and go through the F3/F2 progression, to see how she measures up to the like of guys who are going to race F1, such as Leclerc, Norris, Russel etc.
Schumacher to Mercedes.
As No:3?
Probably. Though he seems to be a nice guy, I’m not convinced that Mick has the talent for F1.To please German sponsors?
As No:3?
With the caveat that you can never tell anything from testing, the Aston looks well planted this year, could Fernando have actually jumped the right way for once in his career?
I don't think I've ever seen a team so happy.Well Fernando made that race!
