Sitting indoors last night, ding dong, doorbell rings.
Open the door and standing there is a six foot earwig!
I was so shocked I couldn’t move! Next moment he lunged at me and starts to beat me. Punching, kicking, tried to bite me.
As quickly as it started it stopped, and he scuttled off, I can still hear those legs. Clickity clack, clickity clack down the street.
So, this morning I’m in the doctors and he treated my cuts and bruises.
I recounted the story to him, but he didn’t seem particularly interested.
I said to him “You don’t seem surprised doc.”
”Well” he said, ”I do know there’s a nasty bug going around “
