WAMT....what annoyed me today!

5 weeks of a trapped nerve in the base of my spine, on the second bunch of tablets, doctor said they won’t bind you up like the others, wishful thinking on his behalf, once the painkillers kick in it’s not so bad, the pain attacks different sections of my leg at a time, instead of from my right buttock all the way to my toes.
Not to carry anything heavier than a kettle and not to sit for more than half an hour or stand for the same, so it’s 25 minutes and then stand and pad about the house if the hifi is on or just in view of the telly at night, I can lean on the back of the couch though, it’s like standing on the terracing again. Doctor is to phone me 6th July, if it’s not ok he’ll arrange a scan.
Not to take strong drink with these tablets but a couple of glasses of red wine help me go to the wee room in the house.

How many of the people complaining about the heat will holidaying in traditional hot spots, we are not long back from Italy, expected 25°ish but got low 30°+, this meant more beer/coffee stops and people watching periods, and sun lotion.

It tends to be the humidity. I can't handle much above 25° here, but 35°+ on a Greek island is fine.
