No
Nothing too flashy for me this year; a copy of 'Secrets of the Seas - A Journey into the Heart of the Oceans' featuring the underwater photography of Alex Mustard, a USB3.0 card reader, and a McLaren branded action camera (it's a Muvi Atom. I won't be recording Blue Planet III on it but I'm sure I can find some fun use for it!).

Over to you...

I was in a Uni camera club with Alex, good to see he's still taking his photos.

Wife got me a Sony A7S II and I ordered myself a Godox AD200 and a few bit’s and bobs earlier which is what I was hoping she would have bought me.

I finally got hold of a Thunderbolt 3 card reader…
now I can really shoot with the D850! :):):)

I got nothing photography related - it seems Santa can't afford the presents I want!!

Change shopping centre… there are many other
Santas with maybe more means! :D:D:D

Bought a nice lens for my eldest daughter, and received a graphics tablet to replace my old, and I mean old, Wacom.

Bystander the history of street photography book and a 64gb SD card. Now I can come home from a days shooting with 1500 s*** images not just the usual 400.

35 1.8 and an 80-200 2.8 :)

Having got rid of my film processing gear 20-odd years ago, I got some film processing gear and a negative scanner. What goes around comes around :)

Santa brought me a Manfrotto compact advanced tripod. I look forward to trying it out

I received the superb retrographic book from my wife, very impressed as i hadn't asked for it :)

A nice leather Nikon 100year Anniversary camera strap...

...and a D850 to put it on :)

Just a iprotec torch with red light function from the wife. It's something I've been looking for for a while. Brother in law got me the comedy wildlife awards book, never even heard of it before.

Santa brought my Sigma 150-600 a camo kit. Going to look really cool when I'm shooting sun spots............................
And a new graphics tablet to go with my new desktop which is still in its box waiting to be set up. The old desktop is about 10 years old but the tablet I'm using may be even older.

.

The Sun will never see you coming :)

Neewer 560tt flash with little portable softbox.
Fm flash reciever (not ttl) but more versatility that I've ever had. And a 35mm f1.8 nikon lens

A copy of "Masters of Landscape Photography" book. Only had a chance for a quick flick through but some stunning shots and some interesting answers to questions posed to the photographers.

A Canon 24-70mm - that completes my lens collection. Heading away to Edinburgh to try it out later in the week.

A lovely calendar made with my own photographs - a very nice surprise.

Chris

Photography Santa brought me the same as Normal Santa.

Nothing.

I put it on the pile of nothings that I got for the past few years - maybe I'll get around to re-gifting it next year.
oh dear, must have been a naughty boy this year :ROFLMAO:

Santa's little helpers left me a Canon 70-200mm f/2.8L mkII lens

Refreshingly, absolutely nothing! Got loads of crap mini tripe pods and similar so don't want or need any more junk. Anything I feel I want or need, I buy for myself these days as the cost is far beyond what I would want anyone to spend on a gift for me.

My partner and I only buy for each other. We exchange lists as we are both rather specialised in our interests (I bought him a Sodium II filter...............). It's all stuff we really do want and would buy for ourselves, but it's just nice to be given it by someone else and to be surprised by what you find under the tree.

Nice to see you now have a half decent Bird lens Jan

I've just upgraded to a Sony 300mm f2.8 :)

Not that much photo related, but I did buy my wife a copy of "Photographing Scotland". We've been twice in less than 12 months and plan to go back again soon.

My son bought me a DVD "89". This will only interest you if you want to recall the greatest end to a football season, ever.

We're off to Thailand in mid Jan, so we've saved our money for the trip.

I did buy myself the new Fuji 80mm f2.8 two weeks ago, does that count? :)

Sort of photographic, partner booked / return tickets Cork to Providence Rhode Island to see her parents and do some winter Atlantic coast photography! Good route by Norwegian Air direct!

A stripbox and some bits of grip gear, and an EFM adaptor.

The family buy these from a wish list and have no idea what they’re buying.

Kids got me a couple of things off my Amazon wish list but next year when they ask I think I might give them a few tips instead of saying don`t worry. They know I like marmalade on my toast in the morning and have been known to have a whisky or two in the evening so when they saw some whisky flavoured marmalade they thought what a lovely stocking filler:eek: Got to admit have not been brave enough to open it yet.
