There are so many good portraits on here its impossible to comment on them all but all are worthy of the time taken to capture and post them.

My top image for me has to be the one of my daughter.......

I did a lot of music photography this year, and although probably not the BEST shot I took, it was one of my favourites ;)

Hi all, I've been a lurker for a while and am always blown away by everyones photos.

This was my Favourite shot of 2011 - its of my friends little girl.

I have pretty much only taken portraits etc all year, so it is really hard to choose.

These two are probably my favourites, but then each time i look through I find others I also like.

This is one of my faves for 2011 , taken at queen street textile museum in december on a photoshoot with 2 other models. This was taken with a sb600 shot through an ezybox softbox at 45 degrees above the model and a gold reflector on her lap .

Nick, your photo is set to private and, consequently, doesn't show up here.

That would make sense since I set her photo's to private d'oh! Thanks for that. Stuck it on photobucket now

Wow, such a lovely photo.

i'm probably going to have to bend the rules just a little, here are my favourite portraits of 2011 of each of my children, both taken near their 1st and 3rd birthdays.

Both beautiful images but love the look of the second one, it's an amazing picture.
Favourite from a Photoshoot:

Love this one, it's really captivating. Kind of reminds me of the show 'Fringe' with the effect you've used.

Love it. It kind of has a 'Black Swan' vibe as well but think that's the eyebrow makeup style.

Firstly I'm rubbish at uploading images to TP. Lets see if this works

This is mine it was shot in December in Queen Street Mill Textile Museum.
