    Dogs and Water

Just a couple of pics, of, as the title suggests, dogs and water. Playing about with the camera at the end of a training session. The shadows, and light made things a bit tricky, but managed to catch the light in his eyes. And this one just appeals for the movement, light...

    Hare Today........

I've been after getting some shots of hares, but thus far, have not been able to find any in a position where I could get close enough to capture them. On Saturday, I spotted these two sat in a pony field, near a hawthorn hedge, which I knew would afford me a bit of cover. I ended up about...

Like that!!! Really captured that nicely, another stride, and he would have been into the shadows. Lovely looking dog. Andrew

    My Working Gundogs

Nice looking springers, really like the "clipped" shot!! Lab x GWP's are becoming very popular with moor keepers around here, as a good allround keepers dog. Yours looks like an English pointer cross to me, lovely looking dog, would have been fun to train and work I guess. Andrew

Sigma 70-300 zoom lens with macro

Got to agree with Buggerlugs, it's a good lens. I don't use mine as much these days since I bought the 7D and Sigma 70-200 f2.8. But I had lots of fun with attached to my 400D, and I still use that combo, from time to time. Andrew

    My Working Gundogs

Fizz is by Hattonswood Brock, so has Kennine Rob, but her top line is predominantly Badgercourt. The dam is Pallaflat Girl, again a bit of Rytex but not overly so. She is possibly the most photographed of my dogs, I just can't help myself,:love::love: Fizz in a strong wind...

I've posted a few pics of my dogs, here are a few shots of one my other favourite subjects. These two were just outside the bathroom window last year. The Curlew is one of my favourite birds, the haunting song always transports me immediately to the high places, where I love to...
