I have one of these and they work great.
just press the timer button a couple of times and you will see a little symbol come up that signifies the remote control receiver is active. This can be with or wothout a little clock symbol (time delay)
The camera will af and shoot from the remote...
I also have a Sandisk 4G USB Drive. Its definitely a red flashing light, it doesn't have any green lights.
I used to get really frustrated with it an I ended up deleting the frustrating U3 software on it and now its brilliant
Or try a bootable memory test program and kill two birds with one stone. You can see if its a software problem if the memory test runs and runs. If its a memory issue the memory test program will diagnose it
Ok, Ok, point taken, but I'm happy to fork out £35 a month and I feel I get a level of service that reflects this... I feel it is more like a maintainence contract for software where you could say you get all the "upgrades" to the software during that service period.
I'm happy to take a...
iPhones are SOOOO expensive, but who can blame them as people keep paying the ££££'s.
I've got a HTC and the sliding keyboard is fantastic. really easy to use. I also have a Nokia N97 and its keyboard is frustrating. You're always looking for the symbols (e.g. £, _, &, etc)and then you have to...
hmm, I have the N97 (few months old) and the HTC Touch Pro (18 months old) which are predecessors to the N900 and the HD2 in a fashion.
All Nokia N series phones are shockingly bad. I'm fairly techy and I keep getting disappointed, The last good nokia I had was an E51 ages ago.
The HTC phones...
Hi Chaz,
it seems to be that about £10.50 per 100 is the going rate amongst the computer component sites (EBuyer, Scan, etc)

The sepia pic is great on its own, but the colour is a better image
This one comes with the iPod dock, doesn't it?
Does it also work as an actual iPod dock for syncing with iTunes? I looked at buying it a few years ago, but as I didn't have an iPod I went for the cheaper 2.0 version!
I have these and I can't fault them

Logitech X-140, about £15 on amazon.
Great sound for £15. You can plug your headphones in and use the volume control. Also you...
hmm, somehow i don't think we're getting the whole picture here. You have this one issue which you explained originally, but then you say you think the pc is knackered?
As for it being cheap HP junk, maybe, but HP just assemble pc's with components made by the same people who make for Dell...
I'm on the other end of the spectrum, I've bought someone elses kit lens (18-70mm) and its a great way for me to experience a better lens without breaking the bank
bit overkill, innit?
I think you're on the right track for what you need. But don't try and cure all the problems with this one piece of kit. A couple of tips;
Buy individual wifi dongles for each pc, otherwise it'll take too long disconnecting and reconnecting if you're switching back and...
