Seaodyssey's 2022 Fifty Two (Critique Welcome) Week52 Showcase

Nice Pete. Is that Monsal Haead viaduct?
Hi Simon, yes it is, it was taken from a layby on the B6465.
Autumnal. The dog walker makes this I think.. it helps lead the eye into the shot.
Snappers. Great location and nicely composed.
Thank you Helen, Dudley and Swmbo come in useful some times.
Very nice image Pete.
Thanks bill
The colours really pop, good shot
Thank you Alan.

Thank you all for taking time to comment.

I like the colours and the light in that. Also the 'Goody' Demolition branding sounds like delighting in destruction.

I did chuckle at the name.
Perfect for the theme. Well spotted. Are those birds in the background?
They are, a whole load of them.
Not much left of the shopping centre there! Great shot.
To be honest it was not much of a shopping centre when new. it's going to be replaced with some homes and a few small shops.
That's a good one Pete. Love the name of the company!
Thanks Bill

Nice colours, a striking image

When is a shopping centre definitely not a shopping centre?? Great idea for the theme.

Thanks Simon

Well captured Pete. I concur with Helen, that looks like a really interesting hostelry!

That does look like an interesting pub. I'd hate to have to dust in there :) Where is it?

Both on theme. Makes you wonder how they got such lovely curves for armour. It can't have been easy.

Two good images. That pub looks really interesting.
It Is, it's the Red Lion at Evenley, Northants. Good food as well.

Thank you Helen.

Also see above, and they gave real fires, so plenty of dust around.
Thank you Bebop
A nice catchup Pete!
Thanks Bill

Week 49 Tool

Just a quick snap this week, my studio is full of wood for the woodburner and it is also very cold in there. Yes it's a garage.

But I did find this tool in there

TP 52 Week 49 Tools by Peter Dyson, on Flickr

Vodka and Orange AKA a screwdriver.

PS I know the shadow is all wrong, but it's a busy time of year.

Pete

Works for me!

Good idea and meets the theme.
Now we all know why you go into the garage.

It's one of the reasons
LOL, best type of tool I've seen posted so far!
Thank you Bill
Cool take and bang on theme Pete.
Thanks Dave
Nice bit of lateral thinking.
Ta Kell
Ha ha! Nice interpretation!
Thank you Simon, my mind is weird at times.
Ha ha! I wouldn't have known the ingredients... but I hope the screws don't go in as well :ROFLMAO:
Ha ha Bebop, No, but the shelf is still waiting to go up...

Thank you all and a Very Merry Christmas.

Pete

That works well for the theme Pete. Lovely light on the stone

Nice one Pete :)

Catchup week!

Construction: a good shot Pete, I wouldn't have guessed that this is a house, I don't see any windows.
Christmassy: these ornaments make me think of my childhood.

Have a great Christmas Pete!

Hi Bill

There will be skylights in the roof, covered currently by the blue plastic sheeting, the hole near the middle looks like a double floor window and door and there are 2 small windows behind the scaffolding at the end.
