I have the ring flash and have made a bracket to use it off camera with a parabolic umbrella u get a realy good light as its mounted perfectly central on the umbrella stem so the lights very even see pic...

i find using a gridded softbox and feathering the light can turn a white wall black

Totally out of my comfort zone as im a glamour tog most of the time had some time and bored so made a homemade ring flash and did a little macro of some strawberrys blown the background out to make the berrys pop...C&C welcome..

Ok i`ll take u up on the offer i could do with someone to carry some gear saves the models moanin when i give them a battery pack to carry...:)

Thats rights nat u just have to know how to get the best from the equipment u have but the £50.00 profoto head is a cracker for the money....

Just did a beach shoot this morning while we had some sun the model was nikki a fitness model who had a great figure.Shot using my new tronix xt battery pack and my bargain £50.00 profoto head from ebay as winters approaching could be my last beach shoot for the year....C&C welcome...

To be honest with me it looks like a split before and after as the left side looks unprocessed to the right but still a good effort..maybe lighten the left side up a little and u will have a good image..Just had a quick play using adjustment curves layer to equal the skin tones out if u dont mind...

you can get a interfit 300w head and battery pack for about £300.00 u get about 100 shots at full power and about 200 at half power i have one and use it alot outdoors..

Just out in the garden and the next doors cat was just sat watchin on the fench so grabbed my camera and took a snap shot at f2.8 and using a touch of fill flash it modelled perfect for me.Its a million miles from what i usually snap C&C welcome...
