Mine was: 'Mum, Dad, meet 70-200' Luckily they didnt react like i thought they would! (They pay me an allowance as im at uni, so was kinda their money, and had a massive go when spent less money on a 17-55 2months earlier)

    Do you keep your files?

Only have about 5000-10000 stored in my LR catalog. I delete all the pointless shots where ive been fidding in my room etc. But I keep all raws from shoots and keep them in LR. Better break down though: Working stuff gets stored on my main drive, where i also keep exported jpegs of max...

    Famous people who also Tog

I think I read something like that when I read inside out, because I think a lot of the pictures were from one of the band members (got a feeling might be Nick Mason (drummer/writer of inside out). Why does my copy of the book have to be 150miles away!

My camera likes downpours, and beer thrown over it. Its fine. As long as you keep it dry when you can, and just wipe off any surface water as well, theres no problem. If you are concerned though just leave out over night to dry out. (I also have a 450D, might be worth saying haha).

    canon 17-55 vs 24-105

I have the 17-55 its lovely lens, esepcially as a replacement for the kit lens. I find that the length is good for up close portrait and wider angle stuff (but you have the 10-22 anyway), but I find depending on what im shooting I have to use a zoom lens because it doesnt have that extra reach...
