Absolutely beautiful images Graham. The mist on the first and second are fantastic, the spots of light really enhance these images to. The colours on the hills in the final image are eye popping! Looks like a great idea to be such a short journey from!

Ahhh, I would never have guessed wake. Couldn't work out what it was at all but that makes sense.

    Abstract Waterfall

Yeah, I'm not sure if 'abstract' is the word I want to be honest. The thing I was trying to say is not the 'standard' waterfall shot with the pool at the bottom in shot and often stones etc. in the foreground. Which I of course took - but these turned out more interesting to me.

Hi all, Any critiques on these two images (taking or processing) and which do you prefer? IMG_0857-CR2_DxO_DeepPRIME-FLK by Kane, on Flickr IMG_0864-CR2_DxO_DeepPRIME-FLK by Kane, on Flickr Cheers

    First Autumn Colours

Hi Fabian, totally get where you're coming from re sharing but its how we all improve at the end of the day. I really like the ethereal/watercolour look all your pictures have. For the first I'm not sure I'd have taken such a low angle and would perhaps have had the trees more as a direct...

    RAW Editor to Raster Editor

Hi all, Just started using PureRAW 2 and then editing in Affinity. If I export as DNG from PureRAW the images will then open in the Develop module to Affinity which is handy for White Balance corrections but then it's auto applying lens correction, noise reduction etc. Should I be turning all...

The Fabulous Fuji X owners thread

Cheers all, glad to hear its not really an issue anymore. I saw a Tom Heaton video about it years ago and upon some Googling saw a few people still complaining. I currently use Affinity but I've been eyeing up Capture One and DXO PureRAW2 so I'll see how I get on with them. Thanks for the ON1...

Definitely agree on the foreground. Caught it at sunset but as you say nothing particularly dramatic light wise.

Hi, Any thoughts on the below? Any edits you'd make or things you'd do differently? I'm also not convinced it's perfectly straight... IMG_0882-PRI by Kane, on Flickr Thanks!

Love #4, the composition with the wood and rock in foreground is fantastic. I have to ask though what are the long marks in the water? Leaves moving? There's also two spots about a third of the way up the image from the trees in your watermark. Imagine this was a splash or rain drop which you...

The Fabulous Fuji X owners thread

Hi, looking to upgrade from Canon to Fuji XH2 this month. Quick question though, I see a lot of editing software struggles to get the best from Fuji RAW files. Is this still the case? If so, what is recommended?

    Boredale mist

Great image with the half light bathed valley, deep mist and foreground interest.

    Prepping Files for Commercial Printers

Hi guys, Sorry for the basic questions, tried to do some searching but can't find any answers. So I have a Raw image I've now edited and is saved as a Affinity Photo file. The file is 4330 x 2165px and I'm looking to print at 60cm x 30cm so 183DPI. First question is do I need to resize the...

    Dungeness Critique

Great spot Martin, I think they're sensor spots as I've not adjusted the sky and there are clear sensor spots on some other images. Your eyes are on point as even with the circles and full rez image I struggled to spot these! I've added a bit to the left hand side and bottom to extend the image...
