I sooo nearly purchased 5dmk3 and 70-200mm 2.8 usm 2 (saving £1300) from panamoz. However, I decided to stay with nikon because despite the saving, the loss of changing systems was to great. In the end i just ordered Nikkor 70-200 vr2 from them, this arrived on friday!

I did have a D800 however, after running the test I also had the AF issue so went for the refund while I could. I know I could have sent it away for a fix but why should I? I have now picked up a second hand D700 and patiently waiting for Nikon to ship without issues or the D600 to arrive...

To the importers; How is the rs value effected on grey imports? How could you identify that it has been imported if it comes with Eng manual/charger? If I took the plunge, which is tempting at this price point would you buy lens from them guys aswell? Thinking of the 85mm f/1.2L II USM...

Thank you, I’ll have a read. I’m aware it’s for enthusiast who will not use ‘Auto’, I just wanted to know how it handles in that mode. I’m also aware of the fixed focal and accept you can't have everything, its seems ideal for her and me on occasion.:)
