    Do I need a rangefinder?

I briefly owned a Leica. It was a lovely camera, and a pleasure to use, but I was always conscious that it had a very similar image quality to much cheaper 35mm cameras and I really do prefer medium format. So I sold it, and bought a Fuji GF670 instead. There's not much difference in terms of...

Show us yer film shots then!

Here's a picture I recently took with my new GF670. I literally spent years trying to decide whether to buy one or not, but recently bit the bullet and sold my Leica to fund it, and am very happy so far, as it ticks all the boxes. Not the sharpest picture but it was shot handheld in a gale...

Thanks Trevor, though to be honest taking a nice shot at Llanddwyn in the evening isn't much of a challenge - just turn up, point the camera at the lighthouse and wait until the sun is setting. As the sun is to the right at this time of year then provided the foreground is lit up you don't even...

Thanks Chris. Yes, they are very muted compared to Velvia shots I have taken. I haven't shot any Velvia at all lately but have a fair few rolls saved in the fridge ready for autumn! I didn't discuss any look with the lab - just sent them the films. I think the exposure could have something to do...

What bit of kit wouldn't you sell?

My Rolleiflex 3.5F. Beautiful camera to look at and use, and despite getting on for fifty years old the picture quality is amazing.
