    Chevy V8

Thanks chaps. The engine isn't quite a polished one, I think it looks better in black and white. He did have a nice highly polished supercharged motor (around 1000hp apparently) in his man race car - awesome. Apparently it's a 1953 Geoff. It's a beauty and has a nice rooooooaaaaaarrrr!! :)...

    Chevy V8

A friend went to pick up his newly acquired Chevy V8 hot rod the other day so I tagged along to take some pictures. Close up of a bug!

First close up out testing my new camera and lens. Took a photo of a little wasp type thing on a flower. When I got back and cropped into the image (couldn't get it to fill the frame much) I was very pleased to see the detail that it had caught in the wings etc. even though the original was...

    Through The Tree's Guyzance Weir

Nice bit of framing (maybe a bit much? not sure), nice blurry water shot and a little bit of interest in the middle. Liking it. :)

    Through the Arches

Lovely composition, with a nice bit of foreground interest then the interesting mix of angles and arches etc. Nice splash of green to show distance etc. Works very well for me!! :)

    A Few More Hares

I really like the first one, I think the face and the ears being so prominent help, with the dept of field, to split the photograph and make it easier to look at. The rest, great as they are, are a bit 'busy' for me (just my opinion) and the subject doesn't stand out as well from the rest of...

Help me find my way back in!!

I wouldn't normally have jumped back in feet first so to speak, I think that making yourself relearn rather than throwing money at it is the way to go but as I say, circumstances kind of force the issue a little for me and the wife, she say yes!!!! So what can you do! :)
