Just popped in to Jessops, apparently if the door is left open, the camera will still fire but not record the image....I am now convinced this is what I may have done... what a wally !!!!

Both, card and the imports. The reason why I think it was when I changed Compact cards, was the last image is on one card, then the next is on a different card, its the 5 ish in between that are missing. Am sure Ive not actually lost the card itself as its only 5 images and the jgs images...

Hi I have a canon 5d Mrk 111, shoot to 2 memory cards (raw to the Compact & jpg to the sd). Going through the images, there appears to be 5 sequential (think that's the right word) missing ie 10005 - 10010 , images either side are fine. If I have accidentally deleted them, they would only be...

They are having the max number in each pod (22 I think), but to be fair wasn't planning on doing a full pod group shot, just smaller groups and if we are really clever and get the timing right, a full group shot from the opposite pod, ok not going to be great (glass, sun, curves etc) but could...

Not sure, Ive just emailed their contact at the Eye, to see if there are any major do's and dont's. Going to be an interesting one to say the least.

What would you suggest, as I may just hire in an additional lens.

Haha that's why I'm asking. They have hired 2 pods and it goes round twice, once for the service and signing of register, then again I guess so I can do photos......group shot over 2 pods is going to be a challenge haha

HI Has anyone shot a wedding on the London Eye ? I have a wedding there in July and just wondering if anyone had any advice, tips etc All I know at this stage is that they are having 2 pods and therefore there will be 2 photographers. Many thanks

Having looked at it again, think you maybe right, but will also check that it is locked in properly. Have been trying to recreate it !!

Am hoping its that simple and to be fair Ive not tried that. I guess if the hood is incorrectly fitted, this would have an effect of the strength of the vignette at varying focal lengths ?

Its the hood that came with the lens. Its never happened before. Its very noticeable in some shots....will try and add an example later

Just recently, dark shadows have appeared on opposite corners of some images. Its not hands.fingers, strap etc, it happens on varying focal lengths, at portrait and landscape but not on every shot. I can only assume its the lens hood but why would this not happen on every shot ? Any helpful...

Having just read through this thread, am a little scared to ask my question now o_O But here goes ...I currently have the following Canon 50mm 1.4, Canon 24-105l f4, Sigma 24-70 f2.8 EX DG & Sigma 70-200 f2.8 APO DG HSM.....am looking to possibly replace or add to my current range. Ideally...
