A Mute Swan, a Coot, and a Robin??

The 1st shot is ok, but it is what it is if you know what i mean. It's a picture of a swans head, and it needs a little more to add interest, and the light bit of grass touching the end of the beak is a bit distracting. 2nd shot is easily my favourite, the coot is nicely positioned in the frame...

..::Which is your favourite out of these?::..(MORE ADDED)

My favourite part of the 1st mono shot which i think is great, is the slight curve of the shaft which shows us that she's just started the downswing and began transferring the power into the head of the driver. Plus the nice straight left arm would really be appreciated by any golfer, especially...

Nice shot, i've been trying to capture something similar to this with little success. How did you get the focus bang on?

    A Nutty Classic pose

Lovely shot, beautifully sharp. Compositionally, as you well know birds look better looking into space in the frame. For me i'd prefer a little more space on the bottom/possibly a little less on the top to balance the feel of the shot.

    Snow Bunting

I was looking for a slider bar at the bottom, as i thought the bird must be over to the right of the frame.

    New guy here. Feedback appreciated

White or black birds are notoriously difficult to photograph in certain conditions. This makes them an excellent way to learn your camera and in particular to learn about handling light and exposure. As for your post, it's a bit dull looking and i'm not really too keen on the composition of the...

    1st timer - Bath

For me num 4 is the stand out shot. I agree with Anthony that when the lead in takes you to out of focus, it doesn't usually work. For me though in number 4, the way that the focal point is blurry increases the sense of mystery and danger which is already there because of the tension created by...

    Waterfalls of a Scottish Glen

Great contrast both tonally and in terms of the hard rock and soft water. The foreground really lifts this into a super image!
