A peek at Roseberry Topping

Spent the weekend in Middlesbrough visiting family.

Managed to get up Roseberry Topping and Captain Cook's Monument whilst there and took a few pictures.

Just going through them now and here's the first one processed.

lol, sorry I laughed when you put you got up captain cooks monument. Im so childish.

Good view, I would have liked to have seen "more" of the view though, there's 50% stone and 10% landscape and 40% sky, I would have preferred 20% stone, 30% sky and 50% landscape - but thats what I personally would have liked to have seen as it looks like a cracking landscape too Ian. Any more from that area? :)

I am processing a few more as we speak so will add more when I get them done.

The area is stunning to be honest. I love it there.

Carl is right...crop a bit from the bottom...do the 1/3's bit

I'll post some more when I've processed them.

The rule of thirds is good but its not the be all and end all for composition.
