I ordered some stuff from them recently and it took less than a week to arrive
No - have tried Sunderland and Newcastle recently anyway, to no avail.Anyone manage to get hold this elusive stuff in the north east area recently? Sunderland, Newcastle, Durham etc?
If your local Asda branch supports photo processing. I've not lived near an Asda nor a Tescos for several years that does - it seems to be restricted to just some stores. Its basically the first thing we say to people who've bought a "new" camera. Go to poundland, get vista dev at asda.

And why not....its a perfectly good film. Much as I'll shoot other c-41 brands, my fridge is piled out with vista. Its basically the first thing we say to people who've bought a "new" camera. Go to poundland, get vista dev at asda.
....because it's only a quid, it can be seen as an inferiour colour film by some people. Their choice if they wish to pay a fiver or more for a "better" film ........

I'll gladly "wasté" a roll to test a camera in the same way I'll use it for shots that i wish to print.

Send you out wearing "Billboards"Indeed, its a perfectly sevriceable film. I was more commenting towards Brian's observation that we should be advocating it harder. I'm not relly sure how we'd do that.
Makes you wonder if all those silly prices for film on the bay are being sold I'm watching to see if 10 rolls of 35mm Fuji reala 100 ISO, 36 exp, exp 2012.... sells for £74 inc del at BIN or what the best offer is.
About 4 years ago,I bought packets of 20 for £17.50 inc del.....might have been £20 but anyone here could have bought it as I put an ebay link up.....much better buy than Vista.

That's a shame - must have been a short term thing as I was in there recently and saw nothing of that, nor have I heard it mentioned elsewhere. Maybe it was some expired stocks? Was in Newcastle today and popped into Poundland on the way back to the car - they had a shelf full of the 200 so took a punt. The cashier said they had them on 3 for a £1 earlier in the week too.
