AlanDorset Week 52 Picture of the Year

Good set of images.
I like the last one as it seems to really focus on the subject.

A nice set. I agree with your chosen shot. I have on a couple of occasions waited for the mist at sunrise there. Never happened!!

Hard to chose what ornaments to look at Alan. Is it a second-hand shop?

Ornament: Well spotted.. not sure about the spiders... made me jump when I noticed them.
Curves: definitely lots of curves going on!

Good shots Alan. I'm always amazed by how big bouys are when you see them close up!

Certainly fits the theme, have the tools seen better days though?

Nice couple of hammers there Alan :)

Yep that does the job nicely!

Very good Alan. Colours are excellent. I hope you were wearing eye protection.

Nice Happy Snowmn Alan.
Good framing with the lights.

Whats the red dot in the sky, any idea, or a hot pixel.

Merry Christmas Alan.

I noticed that dot, hasn’t appeared on any other shots before or since. Curious

Catching up

Construction: Great capture Alan
Christmassy: I really like your Frosty shot as well

Hope you have a wonderful Christmas Alan!

Nice one Alan - that works well, especially with the snowman peeking out.

Good Christmassy contrast with the lights against the dark sky and building Alan.

Actually, that was a challenge to find my favourite picture of the year.

I chose this because it's a really pleasing capture of action, something that needs lots of practice as well as luck, and I haven't put enough practice in so maybe a personal challenge for 2023 alongside the 365/52. So maybe not the technically best of my shots but a favourite because it really works for me.

This shot had luck as the DTV Vauxhall Chevette on a rally sprint at Firle Beacon overdid the braking point into a 90degree left from gravel onto tarmac so did a 270 degree right in front of me to get back up the road. Slightly peppered with bits of gravel as part of the experience !

Well timed shot Alan. A silver grey Chevette was my first company car many moons ago.

Great shot Alan. Congrats on completing the 2022 challenge!
