Always been the opposite for me until nowI’ve always had trouble updating the watch. It’s never straightforward.
FWIW my other half had this problem earlier this evening. Half way through the update she received a phone call on her phone - after the callAlways been the opposite for me until now
I tried that and it worked to a point in that it moved past preparing and onto installing. It then told me it was up to date at 10.3 but a couple of minutes later it went back to installing. I'm baffled!FWIW my other half had this problem earlier this evening. Half way through the update she received a phone call on her phone - after the call
the watch sat prepairing doing absolutely nothing. She turned the power off on her watch, turned it back on again and the prepairing disappeared after a few
minutes and started installing the update. All now updated ok, might be worth a try for you.
Nice purchase!!Bought myself today a new MacBook Pro M3 Pro 16”. Upgraded the memory to 36GB and hard drive to 1TB. Cant wait to test it out once it arrives.
Congrats on your purchase. Welcome to the dark sideIt’s my first MacBook. I’ve always used windows.
Anyone got any idea how to download all your photos from icloud? A few years ago this was easy and icloud could even download them in a directory structure by year...
It seems that has been removed?
Seem to be coming more and more frequentlyThere's another minor bugfix update available for iOS and all the other usual suspects.
"Heads Up"
If anyone is using the "ProCamera" app on their iPhone then there's a very nice & useful update out today.
In my opinion this is still by far the best picture taking app available for the iPhone, and is continually improved at quite regular intervals.
What is the 'benefit' of these type of apps - tried a couple in the past and just found them more hassle TBH.
If you're serious about using an iPhone for photography (which I am) together with others then they'll enable you to get the full potential out of the photo taking abilities which the standard app doesn't.
Which pro camera. app is it? Seems to be two.If you're serious about using an iPhone for photography (which I am) together with others then they'll enable you to get the full potential out of the photo taking abilities which the standard app doesn't.

Probably won't interest anyone.
It interests me. I made one payment with my old Apple Watch SE a few years ago when I first got it and it showed the payment. But when I checked the Wallet app on my phone, the purchase hadn't synced across, so I assumed that purchases would be kept in two separate lists, and I stopped using the watch. It was awkward anyway with the Watch SE since getting the screen to stay lit long enough for the reader to scan it was a big problem.
That's not how Apple Pay works, it uses the NFC reader, it sounds like you're using a separate payment app so maybe that could be why you're having issues?... since getting the screen to stay lit long enough for the reader to scan it was a big problem.

Can't answer your question but I was astonished at the short battery 'life' of Apple watches, my Fitbit lasts for days on a charge!morning all, a quick question..
I currently have a series 44mm 4 watch.. I think I bought it in 2019 so it’s been great with just a few very very light scratches on the face as I like to look after my stuff.
Anyway, the battery life is now down to 85% so it is at 15-20% by 7pm. When I travel, it’s often below 10% and sometimes runs out
So my question is would you go for a later model ( 8 perhaps ? ) or the Ultra ? I wouldn’t run out of battery with the Ultra but it’s bigger and more expensive . Those who have bought the Ultra, is it too big and bulky ? I’m assuming the battery life of an 8 would last for my day ie an extra 3-4 hours ?

Yes, what you’re looking for is seemingly called ‘clamshell mode’. There’s an app in the App Store called Amphetamine that allows clamshell mode on battery.Always late to the party, I've just discovered I can mirror my macbook on my smart tv but it disconnects when I close he macbook. Is there a way to keep the connection?
Thanks, will give it a goYes, what you’re looking for is seemingly called ‘clamshell mode’. There’s an app in the App Store called Amphetamine that allows clamshell mode on battery.
What is the Amphetamine App for Mac and Why You Should Use It
Amphetamine serves a useful purpose for anyone who doesn't want their Macs to fall asleep at certain times or under certain conditions.www.groovypost.com
No worries. I’ve tried it myself (I’ve only had a Macbook for a couple of weeks) and it definitely works. It puts a little icon in the top right hand menu bar. Click that to open the options menu and away you go.Thanks, will give it a go

Another thing to consider is that some of the newer Apple Watches have fast charging. I only have a Watch 7 and with the fast charger I only have to charge it for a short time each day when I am getting ready. Thanks for that, I’ll look at the SE2 specs
In fairness, it must take a while to dry your hair, get your fake eye-lashes, make-up and lippy on...Another thing to consider is that some of the newer Apple Watches have fast charging.
