I think I found them. Photodix ones?
I thought that is very cute. Direct EOS M mount, even though they do not really offer very good macro lenses, and 2 tubes instead of three. Very cute.
Remember you will lose a lot of light with those as the EF-M lenses available aren't fast anyway. Look for a good light already.
I have EF ones and since I have the EF adapter I use these with much better, faster glass for my macros.
The better option sometimes is a macro bellows with a specialised piece of macro/enlarging glass. Look at my Snail Shoot blog post linked to above. Remember I was using TWO flashguns and light from the window and ISO800 to get a good exposure at all.
I just bought a set with a 10mm & 16mm in it (the ones with electrics in, wanted aperture control).
I don't really have any questions, just fancied trying something different from my usual landscapes. Might have a few questions once I have them
I found a thread on a different forum where a guy was using a similar set on the M with pretty good results.
Extension tubes and my 100L macro seem to work well, and it makes for a light setup. I tried my MP-E last night on it just for the hell of it, but I couldn't get it to work reliably. It might just be me though, so I'll have to have another go at it. Maybe it's because it's a MF lens? It would be a nice setup on a tripod or hand held. And useful as I now don't have a crop body for macro!
Talking of weather, is gorgeous here today so hopefully I'll find a bit of time to get later
(I guess I should do some work first)
I had a quick go with my M and MP-E when I first got it ... pic here from earlier in the thread.
Camera with kit lens and flash is now down to £180 at Argos (black version only, others are still £200).
Not sure how much stock there is though; doesn't seem to be any that close to me.
Fingers crossed it's to clear out old stock to make way for a new M3Camera with kit lens and flash is now down to £180 at Argos (black version only, others are still £200).

I think it's on all of our wish lists!!! My 70D is staying at the moment, however if an M v3 was similar spec then I would be at a real cross roads. And of course price will be an important factor!I do hope so.
Got to think the most likely venue for it's release is probably CP+ in Japan next month?
Those things sound like an M3 to me lol. I reckon if I go and buy another M, then the M3 is sure to be announced about 1 week later, always happens like that!!I'm in 2 minds whether to buy another or wait for a M3
Put a EVF, flippy screen and focus peeking on a M1 and I would be well happy.
Add on grip would be nice as well ... although highly unlikely.

This is incredibly tempting, especially as I have a £10 Argos voucher burning a hole in my pocket. Would make a nice home for the kit lens that isn't getting much use lol!
JFDI.....
Had a minor meltdown last night with my M. Had an issue where the camera wouldn't start, light constantly flashed green but nothing happened. Numerous attempts of removing SD card, battery etc didn't seem to resolve it, then all of a sudden it seemed to work ok. Just tried it again this morning and all ok.
Anyone else experienced same thing?
Will buy the M3 soonest it's available.
Even if it's the same price as the original M, when it first came out?
The lighter bag is permanent for me now.
Well that just doubled the initial asking price.
Not so sure. It would have to be substantially bigger than the current M to accommodate the larger sensor, and wouldn't take existing M lenses as they won't cover full-frame. Normal Canon EF lenses are designed to allow for the mirror box, so any full-frame M would probably end up needing to use another new lens system design..., but it would be a fantastic camera.

That didn't last for long

Anyone got plans to be out with their M's this weekend? Another weekend stuck at work for me, although might get to sneak out for few shots!
Weather not looking promising though.
Might get out this weekend, but don't have my M with me. Have the 50D instead.
