Nev Cartledge - Wondered if anyone else is watching this chap? Lots of quirky humour, more misfortune than Thomas Heaton and the landscape images are (in my opinion) really lovely. Not sure I could cope with 11 years in a camper though - the water frozen in the saucepan in less than an hour is not encouraging!

I am also a fan of Simon Baxter as the photobombing by his dog is really funny (and tree photos excellent), but I think he is already well known to folk on TP

Edit some while after orig post:
Adding in the instagram links for the above photographers, for those who prefer stills to videos

Hi there! I don't frequent the forums but I happened to be passing through and noticed the name 'Cartledge'. Nev Cartledge was on the workshop that Thomas and I ran in the Lake District in Feb and we gave him some encouragement to start videoing. He's a really nice guy and takes some cracking photos too. Many thanks for the kind comment on my channel too :)

Oh its so nice of you to reply. You do excellent photos. I can appreciate how hard it must be to specialise in woodland but you do a great job of it. You come across as a really nice chap. The photo bombing by your dog is a riot. I can see how fond of each other you are. The number plate is a lovely touch. So glad things are going well for you these days.

I wish that Nev Cartledge would post videos more frequently. His images are lovely and he is very funny. Shame he had that skydiving accident recently, sounds like he was lucky to get away with 'only' several cracked vertebrae.

I will list your and Nevs instagrams (should have done it further up) for those who prefer stills to videos, not sure if I can go back and add them to the first post or not.

I've seen Simons images at joe cornish gallery in Northallerton
And YouTube /Instagram don't do them justice

I saw the info about his recent exhibition that looked really good, but unfortunately it was too far for me to travel up to, Hope he does one lower down the country some time.

just watched a few of Nevs Vids, I think he's a natural and a very funny guy. I have subscribed to his channel as I found him very entertaining and some lovely images too.
