Detroit Abandoned School.

Took a trip to one of Detroit's hundreds, possibly thousands, of abandoned buildings.

This is a St. Agnes Catholic High School in the Virginia Park suburb of Detroit. There is a large Church attached to the school, which is also abandoned. I've not finished the PP of those shots yet.

Both of the shots were taken in the same doorway, looking either direction.

Sad Nicely exposed though, a lot of light and shade.

The light and shade were so extreme in some of the building the only way to get a good shot was to take 2 shots and edit them together in post.

Wow, what an awesome location! You've really captured the dereliction well It would be great for going back at night and doing some orbs and other light work there

Great shots, Detroit certainly sounds like the place to go for Dereliction! Would be cool to see some more shots.

Had a little crack at the B&W. I think I prefer the B&W, they might add a little bit more depth.

i think the colour photo's are better than b/w, and i love b/w pictures.

A great place for urban exploring this. Have yet to 'splore a school.
