Free to a good home?Yep. That might have been an unwise purchase.

Nice.
I have one just like it.
Best viewed as large as possible.
Looks nice, although when I read that I had imagined you'd uploaded something a little larger.
Simply double click on the image and it should open in Flickr where you can view it full size. It's 11000 px across. Is that not working?

click view all sizes, then show original size - which is where i got the link for the biggest size image hereYep, Flickr tells me that the biggest size is there but won't let me see it. I don't really want to download wornish's picture.
This link works
there's a lot of compression/artefacts at 100%
And having a play with a Minolta 35-70mm in Macro mode (this lens covers the full sensor from about 45mm to 70mm)

This it literally a file processed in DXO PureRAW2, I’ve not touched any sliders in post - a lot down to the lens!!So rich in colours and tones, lovely. Would that be more because of the lens or the camera?

I get that too, Flickr at 'original size' is degraded somewhat.I can see that as well, something has gone wrong somewhere?
It’s basically a RAW processor with noise reduction built in - it does handle optics profiles (distortion correction) if it knows them, in this case it didn’t as the lens isn’t attached electronically to the cameraDoes Pureraw automate a lot of processing like Optics pro did?
WOOW - love the shallow DOF, amazing neutral colours and talents…!Lunchstop on Mersey Meetup Photowalk in Padiham yesterday

The GFX50SII seems to have been permanently discounted for best part of 2 years. I can only recall it going for RRP during its first few months following its release. Probably the end of the 50mp GFX era. From the rumour sites, looks like GFX50SII is being discountinued - obviously stocks about, but it could be heavily discounted come Black Friday - given that its the older sensor and that the GFX100S often discounted is only a small amount £££ more I'm not really surprised.
So just back from a week in Malta (didn't miss the UK weather one bit!), went lightweight 1 camera 1 lens - GFX50S + GF45mm (had the X100F in the bag as well until the last minute, then took it out!), so I spent a week using the GFX like I would the X100F, weight wise it was OK, but a bit bulky at times. Loved the fact that in portrait mode teh field of view is a little wider (4:3 aspect ratio as opposed to 3:2). Nearly bought a Leica Q2 just before I went, but then I thought sod it just take the GFX.
So over the next few days expect plenty of images!!
To start with a nod to @LeeRatters

Lovely. I would love to visit Malta for the car scene - I see plenty of beauties on the Facebook pages
Camera gear set up sounds lovely too!
@Mr Perceptive
David. Using a rig like that for walkabout would be considered brave, even foolhardy. But you’ve pulled it off. Terrific set, testimony to positivity a la GFX. Can’t wait to see more.
Shame I’m potless…
All these pics are really not helping me resist the offers on the gfx50... Great shots!
