Manikin

Picked this up in Hobbycraft this afternoon for a bargain £3.25 and thought it
might come in handy for a bit of lighting practice and some fun. Just got to
think up a name for him, suggestions?

Before anyone points out the spelling, that's how it's spelt on the
box. It also says 12' Male but I think that's just boastful! b​

While I was inHobbycraft I picked up another sheet of A1 card and thought blue would make a nice change (be prepared for a glut of blue background shouts in the coming weeks. ). As for drawing his bits on, then I'd hve to move the entire tread to N & G.

I've now got Sky hd and the new menu system takes some getting used to! Was trying to do a manual recording the other day but gave up in the end!!

I do like the fact that I can now see the now/next for more than one channel at a time. It niggles me now that I have to stop playback before I can delete a recording.

It takes some real getting used to doesn't it!

Seeing the light!

Someone brought in some old camera gear to camera club this evening on
behalf of someone who wanted it to go to a good home. There was even a
voigtlander in beautiful condition but someone got there hands on it just before
me. I did manage to get this light meter so now I've got to work out how to use it. ​

Yummy!

Did a bit of Christmas shopping in MK this evening and decided to treat
ourselves to Wagamamas. Didn't think to take a photo or two of the food so
came home and took one of the cookbook instead! ​
