weekly Gerry's 2015 52weeker

Great starting image, I really like it, my only crit would be to rotate it slightly so the edges of the shapes run horizontal and vertical.

I do like that. I agree that a slight straightening would improve it, but it's close to bang on as it is. Great use of dof, and lovely and sharp in it's band of focus. The blue of the plastic and the frost work really well together too. Good spot!

Thanks for the comments guys, I've added the straightened version above.
I may revisit the bat on another frosty morning and try to get another for a more symmetrical crop to the pattern of holes. Maybe...

What is generally a good idea is to not change the the original image, but to add a new one further down in this thread, that way other people get to see the changes you have made and also understand the reasoning and the difference the adjustments made :)

This was well seen and certainly fills the subject of the theme. With the addition of the frost this gives the image some texture to add a bit of interest.
