Hmmm i have spent sooo much money so far for my camera, lenses etc...and have no insurance...any recommendations please ?

Just make sure you read the fine print with eandl particularly the car cover as unless its stolen from the boot of a saloon they don't cover you. Also they put the price and tell you but there giving you freebies and that's why its more. Also there are some horror stories of them not paying out. Unfortunately there is a reason why they are cheap.
I'm now with photoguard

Unless you are professional, the cheapest route is as named items on your home insurance.
It will give you the same cover as a camera insurer and the same restrictions.

Yeah that's very true. Before I used photoguard I had £4000 of cover for anything I take out of the home and it didn't have to be named unless it was worth more than 1500 which no one item was. In fact I still keep it as its useful
