And much much more on my flickr... I'll post some more tomorrow on here too... I ended up with 150+ keepers!

Hope you all enjoy...

A really buzzing set, rather appropriately for NYC.

The shot of the flags at the Rockefeller Centre is refreshingly different.

Love that last one of the lady with a perspex stick.

NYC, my Greatest City in the World :) My favourite is #9 the Brooklyn Bridge. I have a very similar shot looking through the bridge towards the skyline.

Excellent pictures! :)

Thanks guys for the comments... I cant pick my fav one to be honest... I like them all for differing reasons!

I'm never sure about the effects from a fisheye lens... but I can see the potential it could have in NYC... My budget however does not stretch to a new lens after I just bought the 70-300mm L series which is just cracking!

will post some more!

Great set. Really makes me want to go there which I guess is what travel photography is all about.

I'm going on Thursday, and If I get a set of photos anywhere near as good as these I'll be chuffed. Nice work

Somewhere I must go one day - nice set.

Lovely set - really makes me want to get away to NYC some time in the future! My favourite of the lot has to be the saxophonist, though :D

Some great shots of NYC...feeling pretty nostalgic now to be honest :). My favourite is the subway staircase, fantastic PoV

number 12, taxi in middle of street would look awesome as a selective colour thingymajig.

Any chance of that being done?

Im not a huge fan of selective colour if im honest... I thinkpart of that is because i now associate it so much withthat big set ofpictures ikea do! But that said many city shots do suit it. Ill need to give it a go on photoshop one day... Once i install it on my comp. My wife has the elements version which ive not used in years. Since i went digital ive kept my pp just tocanons dpp as i love the simplicity of its use for raw edits and im not into serious manipulation... Really just what i used to do in the dark room... Although u cant dodge and burn on it either... But i really enjoy my photography behind the camera rather than at a computer
